Der Fokus der Geokunststoffindustrie auf Nachhaltigkeit hat in den vergangenen zwei Jahrzehnten zahlreiche innovative Anwendungen hervorgebracht. Das neue Schlüsselwort lautet nun „Resilienz“ und meint in der Geokunststoffbranche die Fähigkeit, die Auswirkungen von Naturereignissen zu überwinden. Die 12. ICG in Rom ist als Startpunkt für den nächsten Schritt gedacht und ermöglicht unter dem Konferenzthema „Leading the way to a resilient planet“ den technischen und wissenschaftlichen Austausch zwischen Akademikern, Experten, Herstellern und Studenten.
